Miami Democratic Socialists of America would like to wish a Merry Christmas to all of our observant comrades and to share a piece from the the DSA Religion & Socialism working group blog: Religious Socialism entitled “The Meaning of Christmas” by member Lawrence Ware.
We would also like to remember The Christmas Truce of 1914 where roughly 100,000 British & German troops rebuked the capitalist war machine by defying orders from their superiors. Leaving their trenches to meet each other in No Man’s Land, together they celebrated the Christmas holiday.
